A part of a boiler or industrial furnace where solid fuel is stacked and burned efficiently.    The whole grate mainly includes frame and grate piece two parts.    Grate is usually made of cast iron, after assembly between the pieces to maintain the necessary ventilation gap, and often also set below the grate can adjust the air volume of separated ventilation chamber, so that the air through the gap into the fuel layer combustion.    The ash after burning is discharged manually or mechanically.    Grate fixed, mobile, reciprocating, vibration type and feed type.
